Hon. Richard Wynne
Richard Wynne was first elected to the Victorian Parliament as the Member for Richmond in 1999, and since then has served as Parliamentary Secretary for Justice, Cabinet Secretary, Minister for Housing, Minister for Local Government, and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs in the Bracks and Brumby Ministries. Since December 2014 he has been Minister for Planning in the Andrews Ministry. Prior to being elected to Parliament, Richard was a social worker, an electorate officer, and a ministerial advisor to state and federal ministers. He also served as a councillor for the City of Melbourne for six years, including one term as Lord Mayor of Melbourne in 1990-91.
