Dr Lillian Mwanri
Associate Professor Mwanri graduated in Medicine from the University of Dar es Salaam and held senior positions in both clinical and public health in Tanzania before migrating to Australia. In Australia, Lillian has worked in a wide range of settings including: governments, communities and in academia. Lillian has a Masters of Community Degree and a PhD from the University of Queensland and the University of Adelaide respectively. She is also a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (FAFPHM). Currently, Dr Mwanri works at Flinders University within the College of Medicine and Public Health. She coordinates and teaches several topics in the Public Health, and is the Course Coordinator for the Master of Health and International Development program. Lillian’s interest and research areas include International Health, Migration and Health, Physical Activity & Nutrition and general public health medicine research.
